Swift Hackathon 2024

Building the capital markets of the future

Congratulations to our Swift Hackathon 2024 winners! 🏆

For Challenge One, BNY took home the prize. Having assembled an international team, they harnessed AI and automation to develop a solution that reduces the manual steps involved in securities transactions, increasing STP rates in post-trade settlement.

While for Challenge Two, Secretarium’s winning proposition augments Swift’s Transaction Manager with privacy-preserving technology. This ensures that data from all actors and systems involved in a digital asset transaction remains wholly private.

Congratulations to both runners up too – Capgemini for Challenge One, and BNY for Challenge Two, who also proposed highly creative solutions. And a big shout-out to the teams at Barclays and Sedicii as well for their innovative entries.
